Suresh Prabhu to inaugurate facilities at Covai station

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu would inaugurate various facilities at the Coimbatore Railway Station tomorrow.
According to a press release by Southern Railway, the Minister would open two AC executive lounges, AC dormitory, additional AC retiring rooms and waiting room.
He would also lay the foundation stone for two escalators and lifts, sky walk with escalators, automated multi level car parking facility. And, through video conferencing from Coimbatore, he would lay foundation stone for extension of platform 1 and 2 to hold 24 coaches at Mettupalayam Railway Station and dedicate new freight terminal at Irugur Railway Station.
