Takes over command

Group Captain G S P N Chowdary today took over the command of 5 Base Repair Depot at Air Force Station Sulur.
He took over command from Air Commodore M S Reddy, who has retired on superannuation. The handing over took place during an impressive hollow square at the parade ground, an official release said.
Prior to his new assignment, Gp Capt Chowdary held the post of Command Engineering Officer (A) at Headquarters Training Command, Bengaluru, and has served at various premier bases of the Indian Air Force.
He is one of the few officers who have been trained abroad (Israel/Switzerland) on new aircrafts and systems which IAF has acquired recently.
