Teenager held for possessing marijuana

A 19-year old student was arrested today for possessing marijuana.
According to police, the night patrol of traffic police stopped three students riding on one motor cycle on Mysuru Highway in the wee hours of today.
On search, one student, Prabhakaran, a second year BBA student, was found to have in possession of marijuana weighing about 150 grams, they said.
Stating that the accused was a regular user of the drugs, police said that he, an inmate of private hostel, had brought marijuana during the holidays.
Police are questioning the student about the source of supply and a case has been registered against him under two sections of NDPS Act, they said.
