Of all the jewellery in the world, it is the ‘thali’ (mangalsutra) that looks most beautiful on women, said Kollywood actor Dhanush, here in Coimbatore on Wednesday. Inaugurating the Prince Jewellery’s first showroom in Coimbatore at the 100 Feet Road, Dhanush also added that he personally prefers wearing the Rudraksha, instead of gold or diamond jewelleries.

Talking about his upcoming film, ‘Thodari,’ which will be launched by the end of September, the actor said he was hoping that the film would appeal to his fans.

“I’m putting my heart and soul into this job to please you all. My only aim is to give good films for my fans and supporters,” the actor added.

Earlier Dhanush said that he was happy to be in the city, adding that he was overwhelmed by the support of his fans.

Also present at the inauguration was Joseph Prince, the Managing Director of Prince Jewellery, who said that the brand has been in the jewellery business for more than 80 years now.

Spread over 8500 sq. ft., the newly inaugurated showroom has a wide collection of all kinds of jewellery, including necklaces, bangles, rings, earrings, and chains made of gold, silver, and diamond. Four special collections, including Muhurtham, Baby Princess, Prince Silver, and Mili were also launched on the day by Dhanush.
