The Tamil Nadu Agriculture University (TNAU) has announced a five-day-long training programme in tissue culture, beginning in the last week of August. The university is inviting applications from interested candidates, for the session.
In a release, TNAU has said that the training programme, titled ‘Hands-on-training on Plant Tissue Culture,’ will begin on August 29, and end on September 2. “The training fee is Rs.5000 for students from academic institutions, and Rs.7000 for entrepreneurs and the general public,” the release said.
The eligibility for general candidates is a Higher Secondary Pass Certificate, and proficiency in English. The programme is conducted by the Department of Fruit Crops, Horticultural College, and the Research Institute of the TNAU.
