Train runs over woman

A 43-year old woman was run over by a train today, while she was crossing a railway track at Ganapathy in the city.
According to police, the woman, Umavathy, was shifting her household articles to the new house, along with her husband. Without noticing the approaching train, she crossed the track when the speeding train fatally knocked her down. She died on the spot.
