Isha Yoga sessions were conducted Statewide using satellite dish technology today.

As the two-day inner engineering programme in Tamil concluded today at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, about 21,786 participants from all the 32 districts of the State took part in the yoga event which was live telecast in 63 major locations in Tamil Nadu. This programme featured a session with Sadhguru in Tamil after a gap of 3 years.

Today, thousands of people were introduced to the ancient and powerful yogic practice named Shambavi Mahamudra, which was followed by the interaction session with Sadhguru. During the session, he answered many questions from the participants in his inimitable witty style. He said, “An opportunity to touch so many people’s lives so powerfully comes once in many generations. Let’s make it happen.”

As a part of event, 10,000 saplings were planted by volunteers in Chennai. It was planned by Isha’s environment wing Project Green Hands in the aftermath of the Vardha storm, which had uprooted thousands of trees in the city.
