According to the police, 37-year-old flower vendor, Lakshmi, residing at Pookkara Street in Thanjavur, had been selling flowers for the past ten years sitting in front of the building where the readymade retail shop is located. The owner of the shop reportedly forced her to vacate the place to make way for his customers to park their vehicles.
