Women steal 54 gms gold bangles from Pavizham Jewellery

Nearly 54 gms of gold bangles worth Rs 1,36,000 was stolen by two women who posed as customers on Sunday.

According to Kattoor police, two women visited Pavizham jewellery at Cross Cut road posing as customers. The salesman at the shop put up the bangles on the table as they asked for it.

The women then asked the salesperson to show them more patterns and when he turned to the other side to pick more, they fled with 54 gms of jewellery.

Based on a complaint by the salesman, police has filed a case and investigations are on.

“We have formed a team to nab the culpirits and they will be caught soon” said a senior official.
