In a rather shocking incident, a Coimbatore-based advocate filed a complaint with the Directorate of Health Department, after finding worms in a 3 Roses tea packet that he had recently bought in the city.

According to Arun, the advocate, he had bought the tea powder packet from the Big Bazaar outlet in Race Course Road about a month ago. When he opened the pack recently, he was shocked to find worms inside.

“I tried reaching the Customer Support Executive to complain about it, but there was no reply from the company. So I decided to file a complaint,” he said.

He informed that he had filed a complaint with the court and said that he intended to take legal actions against the company over the issue.
