Deepanjan Charitable Trust by Dr. Deepali Bhardwaj which has been working silently on menstrual hygiene and various women issues since last 6 years forayed into manufacturing of oxy biodegradable sanitary pads to support women hygiene on this occasion the trust conducted its annual Deepanjan Award ceremony over a panel discussion on Impact of Swatch Bharat on Environment & Health on 27th February at Tamarind Hall, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

The event started with a 2 minutes silence for CRPF Martyrs as the Founder Trustee and visionary Dr. Anjan Prakash Kaur is a true Nationalist. Shri Karnal Singh (IPS, Ex Dir ED) spoke on the nation's current scenario wherein Dr. Deepali Bhardwaj one of the leading Dermatologist of India and Founder Trustee of the trust moderated the discussion and introduced the audience to innovative ideas on health care in routine life and how to deal with environmental stress. the panel The panelist included Mr. Shukla (KVIC Asst. Director) who spoke on Khadi, Miss Poonam Verma (Principal Shaheed Sukhdev College), IAS Ira Singhal and Trustee Shri Vinod Sharma also Dr. Gyanendra Kumar – Asst. Professor Dentistry MAMC, Delhi who discussed about the impact of swatch bharat on the environment or our health and Dr. Rashmi Singh IAS who spoke her view on Swachh Bharat and the superb initiative works NDMC has been doing for it.
