Docprime.com, the latest healthcare venture by EtechAces Marketing and Consulting Private Limited (“Policybazaar Group”) has achieved its first milestone of one million unique visitors per month. The milestone has been accomplished in a short span of 6 months after the launch of Docprime services.
The platform which offers free online medical consultations, preventive healthcare packages and cashless services for doctor and diagnostic lab appointments has quickly become a preferred choice across age groups. Millennials and digital natives between the age group of 18-25 and 25-30 form the highest segment of unique visitors at 52%, proving that the platform is tapping into an unmet need for the population. A further 17% of the users are split between the age group of 30-40. Surprisingly, even the traditionally non-savvy internet users in the age group of 40 and above are also now preferring to consult a doctor online.
An analysis of the visitor traffic threw up some interesting results. While 40% of the visitor traffic came from Tier-1 cities like New Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Mumbai, the tier 2 cities of Pune, Lucknow, Patna and Jaipur made up a whopping 15% of the visitor traffic, pointing to an interesting trend in the penetration and acceptance of digital services in the general population of smaller cities. Equally heartening is the almost equal split between men and women – with 53% men and 47% women using the site.

Docprime.com has tied-up with 25000 doctors and 5,000 diagnostic labs at present and aims to expand its network to 1,00,000 doctors and 20,000 labs across 100+ cities by December 2019. Currently, appointments can be booked with doctors and labs based in 34 cities of the country.
Docprime.com is the latest venture of the Policybazaar Group with an aim to redefine how Indians seek healthcare services.
