After a brief hiatus, the Kaala team, lead by Pa Ranjith is now back on the floors to continue with their next leg of filming for the movie. The shooting is said to be happening at a set, which has been erected by replicating the slums of Mumbai, in the outskirts of Chennai.

Superstar Rajinikanth is also reported to have joined the team for the shooting. The unit is aiming for an early 2018 release and has apparently completed a little over 70% of the shooting. Stay tuned for more updates!
