New Delhi: Actor Ranveer Singh, who is currently shooting for his upcoming musical drama ‘Gully Boy’, on Thursday shared a look from the film.

The talent powerhouse took to Twitter to share a look from the film and captioned it writing, “Aayega #gullyboy #ZoyaAkhtar @aliaa08.”

Earlier in February, Ranveer along with film female protagonist Alia Bhatt had shared their look from the movie.

Ranveer, who was recently seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ looked completely different without his long tresses, beard and kohled-eyes in the poster. Alia too appeared in a de-glam avatar with her head covered with a stole. In addition, minor scars were also visible on her face. According to a report, the film required the usually happy and chirpy Alia, as what she is known to be, a lot of research, homework and prep work.

Ranveer, who is paired opposite Alia for the first time on the big screen, essays the role of a street rapper in the film. The film also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Varma and Kalki Koechlin in pivotal roles. Ali Asgar, Parmeet Sethi and Pooja Gaur are also featured in the film.

‘Gully Boy’ is said to be inspired by street rappers from the slums of Dharavi – Divine and Naezy, who got famous for their style of wrapping. The duo is known for their song ‘Mere Gully Mein’. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the film is expected to hit theatres in February next year.

This would be Ranveer’s second collaboration with Zoya after ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’.
