Veere Di Wedding has been creating a buzz, ever since it was announced. The film is Kareena Kapoor Khan’s big comeback to Bollywood, after her delivery.

Before the trailer hits the web on April 25, the makers decided to tease the audience with a new quirky poster.

Sonam shared the picture on her Twitter account, with the caption, “You think you know my Veeres & me well enough? It’s never what it looks like! ?? Veere Di Wedding Trailer on 25th April.”

The four heroines, Swara Bhasker, Kareena, Sonam Kapoor and Shikha Talsania are in their nightclothes.

Initially, the film was assumed to be a chick flick. However, the tag line on the poster clears that up for us. It reads, “I’mNotAChickFlick.

And, interestingly, there’s a poster of Smriti Irani’s famous serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in the picture as well, so we’re guessing there will be a lot of punch lines related to this.

Recently, actresses also shot for a dance number for the film with Badshah. The song, apparently titled Tareefan, has been choreographed by Farah Khan.

Speaking about her role in the film, Kareena had earlier said, “Yeah! It is my wedding in the movie and it will be different. Rhea [Sonam’s sister] is going to style me. It will be stylish. And with Sonam – the fashionista in the movie, I surely cannot wear my jeans and t-shirt. Or you never know, I may convince her to come out of her ball gowns and wear jeans and t-shirt. You’ll should wait and watch.”

Veere di Wedding, directed by Shashanka Ghosh, wrapped up four months ago in Phuket, Thailand. It will hit the screens on June 1.
