Another year is knocking at the door. And you definitely want to start it on a healthy note. But that’s been a struggle even in 2017, to be healthy and fit. We are all getting body-wise with so much literature on the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. But not all of us know how to achieve it.

Resolutions are meant to be broken, says Sandhya Kumar, who has been struggling with her pregnancy fat for sometime now. But this year, I want to take this more seriously, and not break my resolution. I want to stay committed to it this year and really work on my fitness, because health is indeed wealth.”

Make your New Year work for you and keep you healthy and fit. According to dietician Sheela Seharawat, healthy food is important to boost the immune system. With a proper diet plan, you can maintain your health.

Weight loss is very easy and it is as simple as basic plus, minus math. If you are going to make a resolution for weight loss, then increase your longevity and quality of life. Dietitian and Nutritionist Shivali Bhat introduces you to some healthy New Year resolution tips, which are as follows:

Limit alcohol in your diet ( try to reduce it two drinks per week)

Eat less and avoid packaged foods. Get healthy fruits and vegetables in your diet.Increase your exercise. Try to walk as far as you can without any excuses.Control in the portion size meal.Find some favorite sports you can do regularly and enjoy it.

The New Year is here and it is time to make a strong healthier decision. Learn how to stick to the healthy resolution. There are some simple techniques of losing weight on this New Year,recommended by the diet and nutrition experts. They are as follows:

Drink plenty of water and lose weight. You should learn to drink 8 glasses of water everyday to give you a feeling of fullness and help suppress your appetite.Eat slowly and you will able to save 180 calories per day.

Do not skip your breakfast. Healthy food will give your body more energy and increase your metabolism.Include at least 5 healthy meals in your diet.Follow a balanced approach to your diet.

Eat more vegetables like broccoli, kale,spinach, and asparagus. Eliminate candy, sugar, soda, and all simple sugars from yourdiet. Eating excess sugar will result in fats being stored in your body, leading to weight gain.Also, reduce the consumption of keeping dairy products, which are high in saturated fat.

Avoid fatty foods, processed or fried foods Healthy life is important to lead a happier life.Avoid keeping your feet up on the couch and eat that takeaway. The new resolution will bring lots of happiness and health to live a healthier life.

It is true –as the saying goes “you are what you eat”. Well, it can be possible with a healthy diet and change in food habits. Try to include fresh fruits, vegetables in your diet.
