India Golf Expo (IGE), South Asia's largest golf industry trade show will conduct the seventh edition of this event, on April 19 and 20, in Bangalore. Organized by the Golf Industry Association (GIA), India Golf Expo brings together the golfing fraternity of India and experts from around the world with the intent to share knowledge, experiences and to chart a course for the future of golf in the country. This year’s event will see the participation of a complete delegation from The R&A, the global regulatory authority and decision makers for the sport of golf, who will focus on the theme of sustainability of the sport from a global and Indian standpoint, while addressing other aspects around building the golf ecosystem in India.
 
India Golf Expo is the largest and most comprehensive gathering for the business of golf and the expo will also include information the development of India as a golf tourism destination, the commercials involved in building a golf course and the know-how to market the golf course business to generate more revenue, among other topics. In addition to the speakers, there will be a large number of exhibitors present alongside numerous golf clubs who are participating in the exposition.
 
GIA with its members drawn from the golf industry, real estate, travel & tourism and urban development sectors is a non-profit industry association whose aim is to build and promote the Indian Golf Industry. The exposition will comprise of a symposium, IGU turf care seminar, over 10,000 sq ft. of exhibition area, exclusive deals on equipment and apparel & industry awards and will also provide ample networking opportunities over lavish buffet lunches, industry dinners and entertainment, making IGE an exciting mix of golf and business.
