UP woman chops off husband’s genitals over second wife

Muzaffarnagar: A UP resident paid a big price for having two wives after his first wife chopped off his genitals for allegedly neglecting her and for “staying with his second wife”. The incident took place in the Mimlana area on Wednesday.
The man was rushed to a hospital in a serious condition. According to police, the man had married a second time with the permission of his first wife as they could not have a child. The second wife had recently given birth to a child, Anil Kaperwan, SHO, Kotwali police station was quoted as saying by PTI.
As he had been residing with his second wife at her residence, it allegedly upset his first wife. The man’s relatives have filed a complaint against the first wife.
