Livpure Private Limited, India’s fastest growing water purification brand backs top 5 innovators of the Water Challenge of the India-Israel Innovation Bridge with cash prizes of INR 5mn. India-Israel Innovation Bridge is a bi-lateral innovation challenge for startups in Agriculture, Water and Digital Health which was launched by Hon’ble Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu during the Modi’s last visit to Israel in July 2017. The India-Israel Innovation Bridge is a joint initiative of the Israel Innovation Authority and the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India. The program is managed by Invest India (on behalf of DIPP). It is an online platform to facilitate bilateral collaboration between Israeli and Indian startups, tech hubs, corporations, and other key innovation ecosystem players in both countries.
 
The India Water Challenge invited applications from innovators of both countries to make point of use water purification more affordable by use of alternate technologies or through improvement of the existing one. Livpure joined hands as Industry partner for the Water Challenge and was part of the joint panel of judges which selected the winners out of 800 applicants from across both nations who applied for the competition to solve the water challenge.
 
Both Prime Ministers awarded the winning startups from India and Israel with certificates and cash prizes at the India-Israel Innovation Initiative event at Ahmedabad. Speaking at the event, Mr. Navneet Kapoor, Chairman & Managing Director, Livpure said, "India Israel Innovation Bridge brings together the innovation ecosystems of both the countries and provides a great opportunity to innovators to leverage the knowledge and experience of some of the leading Indian corporates, NGO’s, Invest firms and Government agencies.
