The dwarf cows of Thanjai and Cuddallore are nearing extinction. These cows can ideally be kept at home, especially in towns where there are space restrictions.The three litre milk that these cows give are of nutritious and medicinal value.Most importantly, the government should permit grazing of these cows into the forest fringes so that they get to eat nutritious vegetation and in turn give nutritious milk.
