State-level cricket for visually challenged inaugurated

District Collector Innocent Divya inaugurated the State-level cricket championship for visually challenged at Gandhi Maidan here on Monday. Organised by Sudaroli, an organisation for physically challenged, two teams – Tamil Nadu and Madurai – clashed for the title. The best of players were selected for the teams based on their performance. Several players, who represented the country in world T20 and the State in various competitions, were selected for Monday’s championship event.
