TANTEA estate workers’ plea to forest officials

Workers of TANTEA estate have urged the Forest officials to initiate steps to drive back seven elephants – that have entered the residential areas – into the forests. According to sources, the herd that includes a calf, entered the Tiger Hill tea estate, that is very close to the workers’ quarters, on Tuesday afternoon. Fearing attack, workers ran for safety.
