The City international at Oshiwara, Andheri celebrated the 70th Republic Day with their teachers, principal, students and their parents. The school does not only celebrate the day with hoisting our national flag, but does lot of activities to inspire the students of the school. The day was celebrated not only with lot of enthusiasm for the Republic day but with number of cultural activities and educating the student, parents and others present with the social responsibilities.

70th Republic Day at Andheri’s City International School 

The class II students performed a dance drama on ‘Save our environment’ that entertained and educated everyone on the need and the way to save the environment. The kids projected it with a dance as well as drama that pleased and informed everyone on their responsibilities. The day was started with school prayer and school anthem. Principal Maharook hoisted the National flag followed by the National anthem. The students had set up dances specially for the Republic day. There was also a yoga display again explaining the importance and need for Yoga in the daily life.

Principal Maharukh Kadodwalla of City international school, Oshiwara said, “We honoured our Class X toppers along with our Proficiency Award winners for the Academic Year 2017-2018. The Investiture Ceremony for the Student’s Council 2019-2020 was the icing on the cake. The students are awarded with the responsibilities for the coming year. The students and other do wait for January 26^th every year.”

Maulik Dixit trustee of City International group of schools said, "This day marks a very important day in the history of our country and we need to celebrate it with great joy and enthusiasm.
