4,600 CCTV cameras installed in Coimbatore

Crime has come down by 50 to 60 per cent after installation of cameras, said Police Commissioner Sumit Sharan. 200 CCTVs have been installed in Gandhipuram, Katoor and a control room has also been inaugurated to control operations.
