Bharat Sena activists on Monday urged the district administration to erect a pillar in memory of those died in the 1998 serial blasts in the city. In their petition to the Collector, the activists urged him to erect a memorial pillar for the 58 victims who died in the serial blasts during BJP leader L.K. Advani’s visit to the city. The activists arrived at the collectorate with a ‘golden pillar’. Since they were not allowed to raise slogans in front of the collectorate, they urged the administration to do the needful before the end of the year.
