Children rescued from child labour score high in the public exams

8 children who were rescued from child labour in Coimbatore and Tiruppur districts under the National child labour abolishment scheme have scored high in the public exams. A boy who was working as a shepherd and another working in a garment unit were rescued and provided education. They utilised the opportunity and have gone on to do very well in the recently conducted public exams.
