Aerospace Safety Council meet deliberates aerospace safety

The Annual Southern Air Command Aerospace Safety council meeting was held at the Air Force Station in Sulur on Wednesday.

The meeting is an excellent forum for exchange of information, ideas and progress in various fields concerning aircraft operations, accident investigation, maintenance policies and procurement of new equipment for safe operations.

Deliberations were carried out on aerospace safety considerations during humanitarian assistance in disaster relief, psychological factors affecting flight safety and assuming ownership to alleviate human errors in servicing.

Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Air Command, Air Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria chaired the meeting and also delivered the closing address.

Air Marshal S. Harpal Singh, Director-General (Inspections and Safety) and host of senior Officers and dignitaries from the three defence services and agencies associated with aviation, participated in the event.
