Actor Kamal Hassan, who is evincing keen interest in politics after the death of AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa, has once again indicated that he is ready to take a plunge into politics.

In Coimbatore on Wednesday, the actor said, “We will march towards the fort when necessary.” This is another strong political statement that is coming from him in the recent days. By fort, he means St George Fort where Tamil Nadu secretariat is housed and Assembly functions.

The actor was in the cotton city to participate in a marriage ceremony. “This is not a marriage function. This is the inaugural event,” he said, again raising the curiosity of his fans looking up to him to foray into the political arena.

More political punches came from him. “We will not let thieves loot by getting cash for votes,” Kamal said. And as an advice to the electorate, he said it is “our duty to change the political scenario without letting it rot like this.”

Kamal gave a call to his fans to gear up for the big day when he would jump on to the political bandwagon.
