Vegan cosmetic expo held

An exhibition of herbal and organic cosmetic products was held here on Sunday. The Vegetarian Cosmetic Exhibition with 22 stalls was organised by R S Puram Jain Temple Sangh. It was inaugurated under the banner of Shri Arihant Yuvak Mandal, an arm of young volunteers of the Jain community.
Pathanjali Yog Samithi President Kishore Jain, claimed that by using such products, ‘you get spiritual satisfaction too’ and would be following Lord Mahaveer’s philosophy of “Live and let live” and not hurt any living being.
Alpesh Mehta of Shtri Arihant Yuvak Mandal said, “The exhibition work was done in two weeks. The young and dynamic mandal team worked hard for this project. The consumers were very happy and they were amazed to see so many products, all vegan.”
Vimal Kankani of Art of Living said It was a great feeling participating in such an exhibition.”
Karthika Arul, a house wife, said, “Tamil Nadu has got a wide marked for vegan products.”
