Seshadri new MD of KVB

PR Seshadri has assumed charge as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Karur Vysya Bank (KVB).He succeeds K Venkataraman who laid down office on August 31 after being at the helm of affairs for 75 months from June, 2011.
Seshadri is a senior banker with experience of over 25 years in areas of commercial and retail banking spanning multiple geographies.
Having started his banking career with Citibank N.A., India in early 1992, he was involved with Citibank India in various capacities till 2005,a bank statement said today.
He moved to Singapore in 2005 as Managing Director and Regional Head of Lending Businesses, Asia Pacific and subsequently served as the Managing Director and Head of Sales and Distribution, Citibank, Asia Pacific.
Seshadri, an alumnous of IIM, Bangalore and Delhi College of Engineering,Recently was CEO of BFC Bank Limited, London.
