Science quiz Thulir held for school students

District level Thulir Science Quiz competition, book exhibition and a refresher course for teachers was held at Corporation Hr. Sec. School, Siddhapudhur here.
The function was conducted by Tamilnadu Science Forum in association with CRI pumps at Siddhapudur Higher Sec. School Alumni Association.
“This district level quiz event is conducted targeting school students from Class 4 to 12.
This quiz differs from the routine ones which test the memory power. The questions here pertained to explaining the science behind everyday life,” said one of the organizers.
Dr.K.Vijayakarthikeyan, Commissioner, Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation gave an inspirational speech to the students and presented the prizes to the winners.
Around 240 students 416 Teachers from different schools participated in this quiz competition.
