Dileep comes out of jail briefly to perform father’s ceremony

Actor Dileep, who has been languishing in the Aluva sub-jail for more than a month, on Wednesday came out of the jail for two hours to perform the rituals on the death anniversary of his father at his house in Aluva.
Dileep left jail at around 8 a.m. and went straight to his house ‘Padmasarovaram’ at Kottarakkadavu, where he was joined by his wife actor Kavya Madhavan, daughter Meenakshi, mother and siblings. The actor was not given permission to talk to the media or use mobile phone.
After performing the rituals, Dileep had breakfast with his family and returned to the jail around 9.50 a.m.
A large number of people had gathered around his house, where 200 policemen were posted for duty.
Dileep was arrested on charges with criminal conspiracy in the female actor abduction and assault case. The High Court rejected the actor’s bail plea thrice.
