At least 30 persons were injured, seven of them seriously, when a government bus collided head on with a private one at Annur in the district today.
The government bus was proceeding to Sathyamangalam in Erode district,while other bus was coming to the city when the mishap occurred some 35 km, police said.
With the help of the public, police took the seriously injured, including the bus drivers, to Government Hospital here. Others were admitted to Annur and nearby Mettupalayam government hospitals.
