Kochi: Sharjah will release all Indians who have completed three years in jail.

Those jailed for financial and civil offences will be released, Sharjah ruler Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi said at Raj Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday after receiving Doctor of Letters conferred by Calicut University.
He said those coming out of the jail can continue to work in Sharjah.

It will also liberalise rules to allow Indians to bring their families with them. He said Sharjah will consider various proposals submitted by the Kerala Government for NRIs.
