Bid to break open ATM in Coimbatore

An attempt was made to break open an ATM of Indian Overseas Bank in the city.
The damage to the machine on Nanjappa Road was noticed by some customers early today, following which a police team rushed to the spot.
CCTV footage in the cabin revealed that two persons, with faces covered, tried to open the machine around 1 am, police said, adding that investigation into the matter was on.
