‘Short film, a passport for cinema in TN’

“Tamil Nadu is the only state in India where short film serves as a passport for cinema. After making a few short films, makers can become movie directors here. Directors such as Karthik Subburaj, Nalan and Sri Ganesh entered into Kollywood after making short films. A good future is in store for short film makers,” says director Cable Shankar.
