Ooty : DMK leader A Raja today likened the 2G Spectrum case to the story of an elephant and four blind men, saying that nobody who spoke against him knew anything about the case.

“Politicians, Opposition parties who wanted to take political mileage and the media, without any knowledge of the case carried out a trialagainst me,” Raja said in an address to his supporters here.

The former minister, on a tour of his former Lok Sabha constituencyNilgiris, said he himself argued the case which had 350 witnesses and a chargesheet of over 1 lakh pages.

At last truth prevailed and he was acquitted, Raja said and attributedthis to the strength given by DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi, motivation by party working president MK Stalin and the confidence instilled by the people of his constituency.

A non-existence case, which saw the defeat of DMK in the last two-three elections, would install the party in power in Tamil Nadu and Stalin would become the Chief Minister, he added.
