Digital access plays a major role in students achieving quality education, says KrazyBee Co-Founder E Madhusudan.
Many students found getting laptops and upgrading systems facilities during their project works a problem, due to lack of money. To avoid that KrazyBee provided financial aid for e-commerce purchases of laptops and other tools to help them, he said.
“Our organisation also provides loan to students and their parents in paying one particular semester fees during a tough situation. Many parents have difficulty in paying their children’s semester fees during a particular period. So we help them with loan for that period,” he added.
A large number of students were migrating to cities like Bengaluru, Chennai and Coimbatore from the North. As a result, they did face problems in getting education loans.
“We also support students in getting sports kit to develop their skills. We have tied up with Flipkart and Amazon,” he added.
The company had been operating primarily in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vellore, Pune and Mysuru and was going to expand to other 11 cities. It has 4,00,000 registered borrowers and was daily disburbing 1,700 loans.
The company facilities were now available in 40 plus colleges in the city and `soon we shall be opening our services to young professionals working in Coimbatore’, he added.
KrazyBee is also one of the largest internship providers in India. It has tied up with close to 800 colleges across 11 cities for campus manager internship programme.
