MVS Cycling Carnival 2018 from Feb 10

COIMBATORE: The fifth edition of premier cycling event ‘MVS Cycling Carnival 2018’ will begin here on February 10.
Organised by Pinnacle Sports and Welfare Association jointly with Tamil Nadu Cycling Assocation, the event, MVS Coimbatore Criterium, will be held at Kari Motor Speedways on February 11, while MVS Enduro will take off at the two-purpose built off road racing track near Golf Club on February 10, Race Director Arjun Balu told reporters here on Monday.
“SCOTT Sports India has introduced The SCOTT XC series for all mountain biking enthusiasts across the country to encourage their love and passion towards the sport,” he said.
The Criterium 2018 just got bigger this time with the addition of wider categories for kids and Championships, which will host one round of the Tamil Nadu Cycling Club Championship. Riders can opt to participate as an entrant for TCC’s Championship and score championship points, MVS Criterium Chairperson, Sanjay Balu said.
There will be events for kids, U18-boys, Master women and men and Elite class, they said.
