One killed during demolition drive in Kothagiri

One person was killed when rubble fell on him from a building that was being demolished at Kothagiri.

According to sources, District Collector Innocent Divya had ordered the demolition of the DON BOSCO building for violating rules.

More than 20 workers, who were involved in the demolition drive, started their work. When they were demolishing the top floor of the building the rubble fell on one Chinnaiah who was in the first floor. The workers had not realised Chinnaiah’s presence in the building when they began their work.
