Three new machines from Covai-Japan joint company launched

COIMBATORE: Mc Craftsman Machinery Pvt Ltd (MCCM), a company jointly formed by a city industry and Japan manufacturers, has launched three new machines as part of its 10th year celebrations.

MCCM, one of the top manufacturers of machine tools, is a joint company of Mitsubishi of Japan and Craftsman, launched MV 2400 R D Cubes, MV 1200 S D Cubes and Remote 360.

Speaking on the occasion, Jiro Shintani, Managing Director of the company said demonetisation and the roll out of GST had a tough impact on the company.

Stating that people in Tokyo started asking questions and it was so tough to answer he said that he was still confident because of the quality produce range. Chairman and Managing Director S. Ravi and Chief Operating Officer, Machinery Division, Mitsubishi, Terutora Urano also shared similar sentiments.

MCCM had started its business activities from sales and service of Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM) and CO2 Laser cutting machine (LASER) manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (MELCO), Japan from January 2008.

The company has made rapid inroads into the Indian market in the recent times, Ravi said.
