Traders petition against the temporary weekly markets

Traders of Coimbatore have petitioned to the Coimbatore Collector, T.N Hariharan for the ban of temporary weekly markets being set up by the market merchants. They alleged that these markets were destroying the 100 year old culture of their weekly markets and also their livelihood.
