Central govt orders extension of CBI Director Praveen Sood’s tenure for another year
COIMBATORE: Three persons, all members of Dravidar Viduthalai Kazhagam, were arrested on Tuesday on charges of pelting stones at Sankara Mutt in Salem.
Based on the complaint, police arrested Krishnan, organiser of Salem District DVK, Rajendran, Nangavalli town president of DVK and Manoj deputy president Nangavalli town, for damaging the compound wall lights.
Cases have been registered under Tamil Nadu Public Property Damage Act and IPC 506 (1) Criminal Intimidation, police said.
