An awareness on local market vendors

COIMBATORE: The Rotaract Club of Saibaba Colony, in association with Innerwheel of Coimbatore, conducted a week-long awareness campaign on the importance of local market, thereby helping local vendors earn profits between March 12 and 18.
Titled ‘Blending and Bonding’, ten teams – each comprising four members – participated in a competition where they were asked to prepare salads.
Noted cooks Madhu Wadhwa and Komal Sakhrani were the judges, while Shreya Venkatraman was the chairperson for the event.
The event that began at 7 a.m., ended at 9:30 a.m. Cash prize were given to winners.
Innerwheel Club President Anu Menda and Rotaract Club President Rtr. Balaji M were present at the event that was sponsored by Kauvya Ortho Centre and Chai Gupshup.
