A group of differently abled sportspersons with a passion for the game tackle the tough sport of tennis riding on their wheelchairs.
A training camp at Ramakrishna Mission, Coimbatore for the differently abled tennis players has given them an opportunity to learn the techniques of the game from professional coaches and to play matches. During a chat with The Covai Post, the players put forth their needs and support from government and tennis associations for the development of the game. Customized wheel chairs, accessible courts and funding are the need of the hour for them.
