Ooty bus accident claims 8 lives. Many critically injured

A government bus carrying around 40 passengers lost control and fell into a 500 feet gorge in Manthada near Ooty. While 8 people died, 15 of the injured were sent to Coimbatore GH for treatment .The dean of the hospital, Dr.Ashokan informs that four of them are in critical condition. One of the passengers who was undergoing treatment in the hospital said that the bus was not speeding and was going quite slow.
