36 injured in head-on collision of buses

At least 36 passengers were injured when two private buses collided head-on near Udumalpet.
One of the buses was going to Kumaralingam from Udumalpet, while the other, from Palani, was headed in the opposite direction. The mishap occurred near Kumaralingam today. Some of the passengers, including the driver of one of the buses, were seriously injured.
All the injured passengers were rushed to the Government Hospital at Udumalpet.
