BJP senior leader, Subramanian Swamy today said that there was a need to change the present government in Tamil Nadu, as AIADMK was not interested in the welfare of the people.

Talking to reporters at the city airport, Swamy alleged that AIADMK rule was one of the worst compared to other States in the country. The government, which was not keen either in developmental activities or the welfare of the people, “should go”, to take the State on a developmental path, he said. As far as disproportionate case of Jayalalithaa was concerned, the Supreme Court verdict would be against her and she would return to jail again, he claimed.

When asked about the alliance for the 2016 elections in Tamil Nadu, he said that NDA executive would take a call on it.

On rising intolerance, writers’ agitation, and return of awards, Swamy alleged that this was instigated by Congress and Left parties. To a question on burning of two children and the remarks by Union Minister of State, V.K. Singh, Swamy said that he saw the hands of Congress and some foreign force behind it.

Home Minister, Rajnath Singh had already asked the workers not to comment on the issue, he said. When asked about the status of bringing black money stashed away in foreign countries, Swamy said that he had suggested six steps in this regard.

Swamy also said that the ban on Chennai Super Kings would be lifted soon.
