Load tolerance trial on Palakkad- Pollachi section

In order to test the load tolerance of the newly converted Broad gauge line between Palakkad Town and Pollachi Junction
stations,a goods train will be run on Sunday.
Comprising 42 wagons, the goods train, containing fertilizer will run via Palakkad Town to Pollachi between 12 hours and 4 PM, depending upon its arrival from Mangaluru. The train will continue its journey from Pollachi to Madurai and Tiruchhirapalli. In view of this the public have been cautioned by Southern Railway to keep away from the railway track in the section. The public have also been asked to excercise caution at level crossings, a release from the Palakkad Railway division said.
