Love transcends religion in Kalaburgi: Hindu man marries Muslim girl

Kalaburgi: Love knows no religion. True to that a Brahmin man tied a knot with a girl from Muslim community in Kalaburgi. Vikram and Shabana Rahmat Hussain entered into wedded bliss amidst elders and well-wishers. Vikram who runs a micro-irrigation equipment business in Bidar had developed a liking for Shabana, who was staying at the State Home for Women.
Owing to their religions, they were worried about taking their relationship to next level. However, Vikram knew that things would turn in their favour. When Vikram informed his parents about his wish to marry Shabana, to his surprise, they did not oppose. But they met Shabana and agreed to the match. They respected his decision and supported him, completely.
The marriage was held in a grand ceremony in Kalaburgi.
